BROW LIFT

-deep nasolabial folds or saggy cheeks
-jowls or loose jawline
-loose skin or bands in the neck
-who want to look like their younger self
-who are in generally good health
If your face looks better when you hold your phone up high, you are likely a good candidate. If the face you see in the mirror or on Zoom is not the face you see in your head, you are likely a good candidate.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY?
-pain is minimal
-bruising and swelling vary from patient to patient
-all sutures are out in one week
-most patients can go out in public in about 10 days
WHAT ARE THE RISKS?
-As with all surgery, there are inherent risks, including bleeding and infection. Because the blood supply of the face is so good, these are very rare.
-Risks are scarring, however, scars are usually very hidden and hard to see.
-Nerve injury, occasionally a facial nerve can be swollen and the smile can be asymmetrical. This would rarely be a permanent problem.
-Slow healing, occasionally a small area of skin may take some extra time to heal.
